Dr. Andrew Schrader
Member 2019
Dr. Andrew J. Schrader started as a post-doctoral researcher in Summer 2019 for the CSP Gen3 Topic 2B project, Advanced Characterization of Particulate Flows for Concentrating Solar Applications. He has worked as a graduate research assistant on the project since Fall 2018. He earned his BSME from Valparaiso University (2014) and both an MSME (2017) and PhD (2019) from the Georgia Institute of Technology. His research interests include high-temperature granular flows as both heat transfer and energy storage media for concentrating solar applications. He is joined by both his wife, Amanda Schrader and son, Edmond Anderson Schrader. Since January 2020 he has been an Assistant Professor at the University of Dayton.
